The three provinces and cities of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, in cooperation with the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport, jointly formulated the "Beijing Tianjin Hebei Coordinated Development Transportation Integration Plan", proposing the development goal of "Beijing Tianjin Hebei Integration, Transportation First". The three regions will build a fast, convenient, efficient, safe, high-capacity, and low-cost interconnected comprehensive transportation network in accordance with the requirements of "planning with the same map, synchronous construction, integrated transportation, and collaborative management". In the future, a "one hour commuting circle" will be formed between Beijing and Tianjin, and a "two hour commuting circle" will be formed between major cities in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.
